Ella is an Australian-British writer and script editor with a background in scripted TV development who is currently in-house as Staff Writer on NCIS: SYDNEY, co writing on Season Two and writing on Three (CBS, Paramount +), pulling in 8+million viewers per episode in the US alone.
Ella’s award winning short film THE EXIT PLAN, starring Paapa Essiedu and Marcia Warren, played internationally at BAFTA and Oscar qualifying festivals. She currently has projects in development in the UK; an American gothic crime thriller and book adaptation THE INNOCENT with The Development Partnership; and an original Liverpool set crime drama called UNDERTOW with Relish Content. In 2022 she was selected as a finalist in the AACTA x Monster Pictures Pitch Competition for her horror feature concept SPECIMEN, and is currently developing her debut feature – the feminist revenge thriller OBEDIENCE and a relationship drama/erotic thriller series called ANIMALS.
Prior to NCIS: SYDNEY, Ella spent four years in TV and Film development at London based production company, The Development Partnership originating and developing projects in house.
